Can the airing cupboard be taken into the bathroom?
In a lot of 1930s semis here, yes, and it is usually what makes a proper 1200mm shower possible. It depends on whether the cylinder is staying and where the pipework and any stopcock sit. We check it at survey and show you the layout it produces.
Why is the shower weak upstairs?
Gravity fed systems give limited head to an upstairs shower. The realistic options are a pump, converting to a mains pressure system, or an electric shower. Each has a different cost and a different result, and we price them so you can choose knowingly.
The old tiles took the plaster off. Is that normal?
It is very common where original tiling was bedded straight onto plaster. Walls get re skimmed or boarded before new tiling goes on. We allow for making good in the quote so it does not appear later as an extra.
